Built inside a real clinic, not a tech office.

Ruana started in our own chiropractic clinic. Scheduling, patient records and invoicing lived in three separate systems. That meant double bookings, retyped notes and invoices that didn’t match the schedule.

So we built one system that works the way a treatment room and front desk actually work, and opened it to every practitioner dealing with the same problems.

    How quickly can I get started with Ruana?

    Do I need training to use Ruana?

    No. Ruana is designed to be simple and intuitive. If you ever need help, our guides and video tutorials are there for you.

    What’s included in the free trial?

    You get 14 days of full access to online booking, charting, billing, and reminders. No credit card required. CPT codes are available once you upgrade to a paid plan.

    Can I use CPT codes in Ruana?

    Yes, on paid plans. CPT codes are owned by the American Medical Association (AMA), which requires a $20 annual license fee paid directly to the AMA.

    Can I customize my notes, forms, and invoices?

    Yes. You can create your own SOAP note templates, Advanced SOAP Notes, intake forms, and invoices, so Ruana fits the way your practice works.

    Can clients pay online?

    Yes. After a visit, you can send clients an invoice with a secure payment link so they can pay by card. The session is marked as paid automatically once they pay. Online prepayments and deposits at booking are coming soon.

    Can I add multiple practitioners and staff?

    Yes. Front desk and admin staff are always free and unlimited. The Professional plan lets you add as many practitioners as you need, each with their own schedule.

    Does Ruana create superbills?

    Yes. You can generate and print superbills with all the codes and details your clients need to submit to their insurance for reimbursement.

    Is Ruana HIPAA and GDPR compliant?

    Yes. Ruana supports HIPAA in the US and GDPR in the EU, with encrypted data storage on secure AWS servers and role-based access controls to protect your clients’ information.

    Do you offer a Business Associate Agreement (BAA)?

    Yes. We provide a BAA to U.S. healthcare providers who need one.

    Can I use Ruana without an internet connection?
